Made-to-measure fitted wardrobes and bedroom furniture for homes in Winchester, Romsey and the surrounding Hampshire villages. From wall-to-wall wardrobes to alcoves, chimney breasts and sloping ceilings, every project is designed around the room and the way you want to use it.

Fitted wardrobes work best when they are designed as part of the room rather than simply placed against a wall. Proportions, door widths, ceiling lines and surrounding features can all influence how the furniture sits within the space.
Because every project is designed individually, we can make full use of awkward spaces, work around chimney breasts and alcoves, follow sloping ceilings and create wall-to-wall furniture without relying on standard cabinet sizes or oversized fillers.
Hanging space, shelving, drawers and shoe storage can all be arranged around what you need to store, rather than following a standard internal layout.
Wardrobe interiors can be finished in practical painted materials or natural timber, with carefully chosen drawers, runners, rails and fittings to suit the project.
Internal lighting, adjustable shelving and specialist storage can all be incorporated where useful, keeping the wardrobe practical and easy to use every day.
These six-door wardrobes were designed to make full use of a bedroom wall beneath a changing ceiling line. Tall Shaker-style doors, a fitted plinth and moulded cornice give the run a calm, balanced appearance, while scribed side panels create a neatly built-in finish.
The design was developed in CAD before manufacture, allowing the proportions, internal arrangement and details to be agreed in advance. Behind the painted fronts, full internal carcasses provide a mix of hanging space, shelving and drawers, finished in warm oiled oak.
The CAD visualisation allowed the customer to review the proportions and refine the design before manufacture began.
Hanging space, shelving and internal drawers provide generous storage while keeping the exterior calm and uncluttered.
Painted FSC Finsa Hidrofugo MDF, eucalyptus-plywood interiors, Blum concealed hinges and soft-close drawer runners.
The agreed CAD design
“I love my new wardrobes and I can't recommend Oakbrook Interiors highly enough! I had a range of design options and tweaking the final design was a straightforward process - plenty of options without being overwhelming. The wardrobes look exactly as the design suggested and I'm so pleased with the result - perfectly fits the space, loads of room and lovely materials used throughout make them a pleasure to use.”

A similar project of this scale would typically include design, manufacture and installation, painted Shaker-style doors, full internal carcasses, hanging space, shelving, drawers and soft-close hardware. Final pricing depends on the overall size, internal arrangement, materials, finish and complexity of the room.

We start by talking through the room, what you need from the furniture and the look you have in mind, giving us a clear starting point for the design.
We measure the room and develop your furniture in CAD, refining the layout, proportions and details until the drawings, specification and quotation are agreed.
Your furniture is then made in our Hampshire workshop and carefully fitted in your home by the same small team involved in the design.
Send us a few photographs of the room, your postcode and a brief outline of what you have in mind. Approximate measurements are useful if you have them, and we can advise on the possibilities and the next steps.
